Avoiding and Escaping Swarms

Killer bees nest in warm biomes like plains, savannas, and jungles. A single sting alerts the entire hive to attack you as a coordinated group, making retreat your best option.

When stung, venom builds in your system while pain, panic, and control stats rise and fall. High panic causes blurred vision, camera shake, and involuntary movements like stumbling or dropping items. You'll see a Keep Control prompt—press R to hit the green zone and stabilize yourself.

To cure poisoning, defeat bees to harvest Venom Sacs and craft antivenom syringes. Inject antivenom into yourself to reduce panic, pain, and venom without instantly curing severe doses. Avoid nests entirely if possible, or use ranged weapons to thin the swarm before it fully mobilizes.
