Tuning the Veinmine Enchantment in the Config

Finding the Settings

This addon exposes its own configuration for the Veinmine enchantment. Open the config file for the addon and look for the enchantment entry. The key settings mirror standard enchantment properties: the display name, the weight that controls how often it appears, and the minimum enchanting cost.

What Each Setting Does

The name setting changes what the enchantment is called in tooltips and commands. The weight controls rarity: raising it makes the enchantment show up more often in enchanting and loot, lowering it makes it rarer. The minimum cost affects the level requirement before the enchantment can appear on an enchanting table offer. Adjust these to match how common you want veinmining to feel on your world or server.

Applying Changes

Save the file and reload or restart the game so the new values take effect. On a server, the config must be changed on the server side and the server restarted; clients do not need to match for the enchantment to function.

Keeping Block Rules Separate

Remember that which blocks can be veinmined, and how large a vein can be, are handled by the main Veinminer mod's config. This addon only controls the enchantment itself. If you want to change what gets veinmined, edit the main mod's settings instead.
