How to Get the Veinmine Enchantment on Your Tool
Enchanting at a Table
The Veinmine enchantment behaves like a normal enchantment, so the most direct route is an enchanting table. Place your pickaxe, axe, shovel, or other valid tool in the table and enchant it. Because Veinmine has a low weight, it competes with other enchantments, so you may need to enchant several tools before it appears. Enchanting at higher levels gives you more options per roll, which improves your odds of seeing it.
Using Books and Anvils
If you find a Veinmine enchanted book through fishing, loot chests, or trading, you can apply it to a tool with an anvil. Combine the book with the tool in the anvil interface; the enchantment transfers to the tool and the book is consumed. This is the most reliable method because it does not depend on random table rolls.
Checking That It Worked
Hover over the tool and confirm the Veinmine line appears in the tooltip. If it does not, the enchantment did not apply. Once it is present, the tool is ready to veinmine, subject to the block rules configured in the main Veinminer mod.
Practical Tips
Enchant a spare tool first so you do not lose a good pickaxe to a failed attempt. Keep any Veinmine books you find rather than discarding them, since they are the safest way to guarantee the enchantment.
