Positioning Your Vein Creeper

Once you have a vein creeper, position it near stone blocks where you want ores to generate. The creeper's explosion will convert nearby stone into ore blocks corresponding to its type—a lapis vein creeper creates lapis ore, a diamond vein creeper creates diamond ore, and so on.

Triggering the Explosion

Ignite the vein creeper using flint and steel or by allowing it to detect you as a threat. The creeper will begin its fuse and explode after a few seconds. When it detonates, all eligible stone blocks within the explosion radius will transform into the corresponding ore type.

Tips for Efficiency

Surround your vein creeper with stone to maximize ore generation. Avoid placing it near valuable blocks you want to keep, as the explosion will damage the surrounding area. Multiple vein creepers can be used in sequence to generate large ore deposits.
