Create Custom Vein Creeper Variants

Understanding Configuration

The Vein Creepers Mod supports custom creeper variants through config files and datapacks. This allows you to create vein creepers for ore types beyond the defaults, or adjust existing variants to suit your needs.

Setting Up Custom Variants

Access your mod's configuration files or create a datapack in your world folder. Define new creeper types by specifying the ore block they should generate and any visual properties like color or texture. Each variant needs a unique identifier and the corresponding ore block it will produce.

Testing Your Creepers

Once configured, your custom vein creepers should appear as spawn eggs in the creative inventory. Test them by spawning them in survival mode and triggering explosions near stone to verify they generate the correct ore type. Adjust your configuration as needed to achieve the desired behavior and appearance.
