Setting Up the Trap

The Infusion Mob Trap is the core tool for creating vein creepers. Craft this block and place it on the ground in an accessible location. Once placed, you'll need to add specific items into the trap—these vary depending on which ore type you want your creeper to become. Check your trap's interface to see what materials are required for your desired vein creeper variant.

Converting Your Creeper

Once the trap is loaded with the correct items, lure a regular creeper onto the trap block. You can do this by walking near it or using other methods to draw its attention. When the creeper steps onto the trap, it will be converted into a vein creeper matching the ore type you've configured.

The converted creeper will retain its hostile behavior, so be prepared to manage it safely. You can then lead it to your target area or contain it until you're ready to use it for ore generation.
