Find and Collect Ores Efficiently
Understand Grid Ore Distribution
Ores spawn as individual blocks scattered across the grid at regular intervals. Unlike normal Minecraft, you won't find ore veins—each ore block is isolated. This means every ore you locate is precious and must be harvested carefully. Scout the grid systematically, moving outward in expanding circles from your base to locate ore blocks.
Harvest Ores Safely
When you spot an ore block, approach it cautiously. Stand on an adjacent grid block and mine the ore from a stable position. Never mine an ore block you're standing on—you'll fall into the void. If an ore block is isolated with no nearby grid points, build a bridge to it first, then harvest.
Prioritize Collection Order
Focus on ores that give you tool upgrades: stone tools first, then iron, then diamond. Collect coal for fuel and torches. Lower-tier ores become less useful once you upgrade, so don't waste time gathering stone ore after finding iron. Transport valuable ores back to your base regularly to avoid losing them if you fall.
