Managing Multiple Notes and Pages in the Notebook

Understanding the Page System

The notebook works like a virtual book, meaning it has multiple pages you can flip through. Each page holds its own text, so you can separate unrelated notes instead of cramming everything onto one screen. Use the page navigation controls in the interface to move forward and backward.

When to Start a New Page

Start a new page whenever the topic changes. Good reasons to flip to a fresh page include:

  • A new base or outpost
  • A new project or build
  • A new expedition or mining trip
  • A shopping or trading list

Keeping topics separate makes it much faster to find what you need later.

Finding Old Notes Quickly

If you have many pages, add a short title at the top of each one, such as the location name or project name. When you open the notebook, skim the first line of each page rather than reading everything. This mirrors how you would use a real notebook's tabs or headers.

Housekeeping

Periodically review your pages and remove outdated notes. If a project is finished, you can clear that page and reuse it. Keeping the notebook tidy ensures the information you actually need stays easy to reach during gameplay.
