Maximize Firearm Damage with Netherite Upgrades

Prepare Your Upgrade Materials

To upgrade any firearm to Netherite, you'll need a Netherite Ingot and access to a smithing table. Make sure your gun still has durability remaining—you can't upgrade a broken weapon.

Perform the Upgrade

Place your firearm in the smithing table alongside a Netherite Ingot. The smithing table will combine them, upgrading your weapon's stats and durability. This works for all four gun types: Auto Gun, Rifle, Revolver, and Shotgun.

Stack Upgrades with Enchantments

After upgrading to Netherite, use an anvil to add enchantments for even better performance. Apply Unbreaking to extend durability, Mending to repair through combat, or Punch to increase knockback. The Flame enchantment works on guns but increases durability loss, so use it strategically. A fully upgraded and enchanted Netherite firearm becomes a powerful late-game tool.
