Enter the Wooden Dimension for the First Time

Building Your Oak Portal

The gateway to the mod's custom dimensions starts with a simple portal frame. Gather oak planks and arrange them in the standard Nether portal shape—a rectangular frame that is 4 blocks wide and 5 blocks tall, with the interior left empty.

Lighting and Entering

Once your oak plank frame is complete, use flint and steel or another fire-starting method to ignite the portal. The interior should fill with a gateway effect. Step through to arrive in the wooden dimension.

What to Expect

You'll find yourself in a foggy realm dominated by tall wooden pillars and thick yellow mist. Visibility is limited, so bring torches to mark your path and avoid getting lost. The wooden dimension is home to several anomalous mobs, including the Woodweaver. Listen for unusual sounds—they often signal nearby threats.

Moving Deeper

To reach the stone realm, you'll need to descend to the bottom levels of the wooden dimension. Bring adequate supplies: food, weapons, and blocks for building safe passages. The deeper you go, the more dangerous entities you'll encounter.
