Accessing the Configuration File

The mod provides customizable spawn settings for overworld creatures. Use the command /config showfile the_unkept COMMON to open the common configuration file. This file controls how often anomalous mobs appear in your regular Overworld.

Understanding Spawn Control

If you find overworld mobs spawning too frequently and disrupting your gameplay, you can reduce their spawn chance. Conversely, if you want more encounters, increase the spawn rate. The configuration file contains the relevant spawn probability settings.

Making Changes

Edit the spawn values in the configuration file according to your preference. Save your changes and reload your world or restart the server for settings to take effect.

Testing Your Settings

After adjusting spawn rates, spend time in the Overworld to verify the change feels right. You may need to tweak values multiple times to find your ideal balance. Remember that spawn rates affect only overworld creatures—mobs in the custom dimensions spawn independently.
