Build Your First Working Helicopter
Gather Your Components
Collect thrusters from the creative inventory or craft them. You'll need at least four thrusters—two for lift and two for directional control. Grab some mechanical blocks to form the body and a control block to link everything together.
Assemble the Frame
Place blocks in a cross or rectangular shape to create your helicopter body. Position thrusters on top for vertical lift. Attach additional thrusters on the sides for forward, backward, and rotational movement. Make sure all thrusters are aligned properly—misalignment causes unstable flight.
Link Controls
Place a control block (ship controller) on your helicopter frame. Use the control interface to bind your thrusters to movement keys. Test each
thruster individually to confirm it responds correctly.
Test Flight
Board your helicopter and use WASD to move and Space/Shift for altitude. Start in a flat, open area away from obstacles. Make small adjustments to thruster power if the helicopter spins or drifts unexpectedly. Once stable, you can add more thrusters for better maneuverability or speed.
