Build a Spinning Propeller or Rotor
Understand Six-Way Spinners
Six-way spinners are rotating mechanical components that can create lift, thrust, or visual effects. They're essential for helicopter rotors and aircraft propellers. Collect
spinner blocks from the creative inventory.
Mount the Spinner
Place a spinner block on top of your aircraft frame where you want rotation. Spinners need clearance—ensure nothing blocks their rotation path. You can stack multiple spinners for increased effect, but they must be properly aligned on the same axis.
Configure Rotation
Attach a control block and bind the spinner to a control input. The spinner will rotate continuously when activated. Adjust rotation speed through the control block's settings if available.
Combine with Thrusters
Pair spinners with traditional thrusters for hybrid propulsion. A spinning rotor provides lift while directional thrusters handle movement. This combination creates realistic helicopter and airplane behavior. Test rotation speed and direction before full flight operations.
