How to Install and Use Valhelsia Core as a Dependency

What Valhelsia Core Actually Does

Valhelsia Core is a library mod. It adds no blocks, items, mobs, or recipes you can interact with in-game. Its entire purpose is to provide shared code and resources that the other Valhelsia mods rely on. If you try to "use" it directly, you will find nothing to craft or place.

Getting It Working

Because it is a dependency, you do not install it for its own features. You install it so that the mods that depend on it can load. The practical steps are:

1. Identify which Valhelsia mods you want to run (for example, a Valhelsia building or decoration mod).

2. Check that mod's requirements. If Valhelsia Core is listed, you need it present.

3. Place the Valhelsia Core file in the same mods folder as the dependent mod.

4. Make sure both target the same Minecraft version and mod loader. A mismatch is the most common reason the game crashes on startup.

Verifying It Loaded

Launch the game and open the mod list. Valhelsia Core should appear there. If a dependent mod fails to load with a "missing dependency" error, the Core file is either absent, the wrong version, or in the wrong folder. Fix that before troubleshooting anything else. Once loaded, you can ignore Valhelsia Core entirely and play the mods that use it.
