How to Use Storage Blocks for Organization

Creating Storage Blocks

Storage blocks are compressed versions of ingots, offering a space-efficient way to store large quantities of materials. Each metal in Useful Foundation Mod has a corresponding storage block.

1. Gather nine ingots: Collect nine ingots of any single material (copper, tin, bronze, nickel, invar, lead, silver, electrum, or uranium).

2. Craft the storage block: Arrange the nine ingots in a 3×3 pattern on a crafting table to create one storage block.

3. Place and organize: Store blocks in your base or warehouse to keep your inventory manageable.

Converting Back

If you need ingots again, simply place a storage block on a crafting table and it will return nine ingots of the original material.

Benefits

Storage blocks reduce clutter, make transportation easier, and create an organized storage system. They're particularly useful when stockpiling materials for large building projects or machine construction. Use different block types to color-code your storage areas.
