Best Biomes for Resources

Different underground biomes offer different rewards:

• Underground Forests: Rich in coal and rare ores; sinkholes provide natural light
• Giant Craters: Contain space rocks and expose deep cave systems with valuable deposits
• Ancient Sewers: Limited ore, but useful for other loot
• Underground Rivers: Primarily for travel, but adjacent stone can be mined

Mining Strategy

Bring a pickaxe appropriate for the ore level you're targeting. Underground forests are accessible early and provide coal for fuel and rare ores for mid-game progression. Giant craters require deeper exploration but reward you with unique materials.

Always mine carefully near water—falling into poisonous sewer water or deep underground rivers can be fatal. Use blocks to create safe mining platforms, and never dig directly above or below yourself without support.
