Finding the Underground Jungle

The Underground Jungle generates beneath warm biomes like jungles, savannas, and deserts. Dig down from the surface in these biomes until you encounter jungle grass, mud blocks, and dense vegetation. You'll know you've arrived when you see the characteristic warm-biome underground terrain.

Initial Exploration and Safety

Bring a sword, pickaxe, and food. Jungle Zombies and Jungle Bees spawn frequently and both inflict poison on hit. Craft or find an Antidote Flask from jungle chests to cure poison—this is essential for survival.

Finding Jungle Temples

Explore the biome systematically. Jungle Temples are the main structures here, containing traps and multiple chests. Be cautious of pressure plates and tripwires. Inside, you'll find temple tools that serve as the foundation for crafting upgraded weapons like the Blade of the Jungle (poison damage) and Axe of Regrowth (plants saplings when used).

Gathering Resources

Collect jungle grass and mud for building or crafting. Defeat Jungle Bees and Zombies for drops. Prioritize reaching temples for better loot and unique tools that aren't available elsewhere.
