Understand Which Ores Are Compatible with Underground Biomes
Compatibility Requirements
Not all ores automatically work with the Underground Biomes Constructs Ore Registrar. For an ore to be registered, it must:
- Be properly defined as an ore block in its mod
- Have a name and texture that can be adapted
- Be registered to the Forge ore dictionary or equivalent system
Common Compatible Ores
Ores from popular mods like Copper, Tin, Yellorite, and similar materials typically register automatically. Mod ores that follow standard Minecraft ore conventions are most likely to work.
Checking Your Setup
If an ore isn't generating as a UBC variant:
1. Verify both mods are installed and loaded
2. Check mod logs for registration errors or warnings
3. Confirm the ore mod is compatible with the UBC API
4. Look for configuration options that might disable specific ores
Some specialized or heavily customized ores may require manual configuration or may not be compatible with the Underground Biomes system.
