Fix Ores That Look Out of Place in Underground Biomes

Identifying Mismatched Ores

When exploring Underground Biomes, you may notice ores from other mods generating in vanilla stone instead of matching the surrounding UBC stone variants. This breaks immersion and makes mining feel inconsistent.

Using the Ore Registrar

The Underground Biomes Constructs Ore Registrar solves this by automatically registering compatible ores to generate as Underground Biomes variants. Once active, ores will spawn in stone types that match their biome context—Tin in Basalt, Yellorite in Soapstone, and so on.

Verification

After installing the Ore Registrar:

1. Create a new world or explore ungenerated chunks

2. Dig into Underground Biomes layers

3. Look for ore blocks that now match the surrounding stone texture and color

4. Compare with previously generated chunks to see the difference

If ores still appear mismatched, check that the Ore Registrar is loaded and that your mod's ores are compatible with the UBC API.
