How to Use the University Scroll

What the University Scroll Is For

The University Scroll is a specialized scroll tied to the MineColonies University building. The University is where your colony researches upgrades that unlock new building tiers, worker abilities, and colony-wide bonuses. The University Scroll gives you a remote view of the University's research queue and available research options, so you can check progress or queue the next research without walking to the building.

Using the Scroll

1. Obtain a University Scroll.

2. Right-click the University hut block while holding the scroll to bind it to that specific University.

3. Right-click in the air to open the scroll's interface.

4. Review the current research in progress, the remaining time, and the list of available research options.

5. Select a new research to queue once the current one finishes (if the interface allows queueing).

6. Close the scroll — the University will continue working as normal.

Practical Tips

• Bind the scroll as soon as you build your first University so you can monitor long research timers from anywhere in the colony.
• If you have multiple Universities (rare but possible in large colonies), bind a separate scroll to each.
• Combine with a Resource Scroll to confirm you have the required research materials on hand before queueing.
