How to Craft the Full Turtle Armor Set

Gathering Materials

Turtle Armor pieces are crafted using Scutes, the same material as the vanilla Turtle Shell. You'll need to farm Scutes by breeding Sea Turtles or finding them in the world. Each armor piece requires a different number of Scutes arranged in specific patterns on the crafting table.

Crafting Each Piece

Place your Scutes on the crafting table following the standard armor piece templates:

• Turtle Helmet: Arrange Scutes in the helmet pattern (top three slots and two middle slots)
• Turtle Chestplate: Use the chestplate layout (center column and sides)
• Turtle Poleyns (Leggings): Follow the leggings pattern (top and side rows)
• Turtle Boots: Craft using the boots template (bottom corners)

Each piece will appear in the result slot once the correct pattern is complete. Collect all four pieces to assemble your full set and unlock the "Half-Shell Hero" advancement.

Pro Tip

Farm Scutes efficiently by setting up a Sea Turtle breeding area near your base. This ensures a steady supply for repairs or crafting multiple sets.
