How to Check and Change Trenzalore Mod's Gameplay Toggles

Finding the Config

Trenzalore Mod is a small utility/compatibility mod, so its settings live in a config file rather than a big in-game menu. Depending on your mod loader, the config is generated in your instance's config folder the first time the game runs with the mod installed. Look for a file named after the mod.

What You Can Toggle

The mod bundles several independent gameplay adjustments, and each can typically be turned on or off separately:

  • Boat fall damage fix — prevents fall damage when dismounting a boat.
  • Piglin Brute behavior change — full gold armor stops Brutes from attacking you.
  • Jungle temple arrow tweaks — traps fire poison arrows instead of normal arrows.

Editing the Settings

1. Close Minecraft completely so the config is not overwritten on exit.

2. Open your instance folder and go into config.

3. Open the Trenzalore config file in a plain text editor.

4. Change the value next to the feature you want to enable or disable (usually true/false).

5. Save the file and relaunch the game.

If You Use a Mod Menu

Some mod loaders expose configs through an in-game mod list or a config library screen. If your setup has one, open the mod list, find Trenzalore, and edit the toggles there instead — changes usually apply immediately without a restart. If no such screen exists, the text file method above always works. Keep a backup of the config before editing so you can restore defaults if something behaves unexpectedly.
