Mount Torches on Stairs and Slabs

Prepare Your Blocks

Place bottom slabs or stairs where you want mounted torches. These blocks must be positioned at the bottom of a space (bottom slabs) or oriented as stairs. The torch will attach to the side of these blocks rather than sitting on top.

Attach the Torch

Hold a Glow Ink Torch and aim at the side face of your bottom slab or stair block. Right-click to mount it. The torch will stick to the side surface, providing directional lighting without taking up floor or top space.

Design Lighting Patterns

Use this mounting technique to create decorative lighting along staircases, under overhangs, or along wall features. This method saves space and creates more sophisticated lighting designs than traditional floor placement.
