Shoot Torches Accurately

Aiming Fundamentals

The Torch Bow fires torches as projectiles that place themselves on impact. Unlike arrows, torches will land on surfaces and stay there, making placement predictable once you understand the physics.

Shooting Technique

1. Ensure torches are in your inventory

2. Draw the bow by holding right-click (or your mod's fire button)

3. Aim at your target surface—torches will place on blocks they hit

4. Release to fire

5. Adjust your angle and distance based on where the torches land

Placement Tips

Torches will attach to solid blocks, so aim at walls, floors, or ceilings where you want light. Shooting downward at ground level places torches on the surface. For multi-torches, the spread means some will scatter—useful for coverage but less precise for single-torch placement. Practice in a test area to get comfortable with the trajectory.
