Understanding Tool Shape Changes Across Material Tiers
How Tool Designs Vary by Material
Tools Reimagined gives each material tier its own distinct silhouette and proportions. As you progress through the game, your tools will look noticeably different:
- Wooden tools have one characteristic shape
- Stone tools receive a redesigned form
- Iron tools feature their own unique proportions
- Diamond tools display a refined, often larger or more elaborate design
- Netherite tools showcase the most dramatic transformations, with special trim options
Observing the Progression
1. Craft one tool type across all tiers — for example, make wooden, stone, iron, diamond, and netherite pickaxes
2. Hold each version in first-person to see how the shape evolves
3. Place them in item frames side-by-side to compare designs directly
4. Notice handle lengths, blade widths, and overall proportions changing between tiers
The pack maintains Minecraft's recognizable tool identity while giving each material tier a visually distinct personality. This makes tool progression feel more rewarding, as upgrading to better materials also means your equipment looks substantially different.
