How to Prepare for Iceologer and Showmaster Raids

Understanding Raid Waves

Iceologers and Showmasters appear during the final waves of raids—they don't spawn in earlier waves. These are among the most dangerous raid mobs, so preparation is essential.

Iceologer Tactics

Iceologers summon icy traps that can freeze you in place and deal damage. Wear frost-resistant gear if available, or bring healing potions. Attack from range when possible to avoid their trap zones. Move constantly to prevent being caught in multiple traps.

Showmaster Tactics

Showmasters are extremely aggressive, firing rapid arrows, throwing potions, and summoning fangs. They're the deadliest raid mob. Wear heavy armor, bring healing potions, and use a shield to block arrows. Attack quickly and don't let them gain distance—they're more dangerous from range.

General Raid Preparation

Bring enchanted diamond or netherite armor with Protection. Stock plenty of healing potions and food. Use a strong sword or bow. Consider fighting in enclosed spaces where Showmasters can't maintain distance. Have backup weapons in case one breaks.
