Craft Your First Medieval Weapon

Gather Components

Before you can forge any medieval weapon, you need to craft the basic components that serve as building blocks. Start by collecting wood, leather, and metal ingots from your existing resources.

Create Weapon Parts

Use your crafting table to make handles, poles, and leather strips. These custom components are the foundation for all medieval weapons in the mod. Each weapon type requires different combinations of these parts paired with standard materials like wood planks, sticks, or metal ingots.

Combine Into Weapons

Once you have your components ready, use a crafting table or smithing table to combine them into finished weapons. For example, pairing a handle with metal ingots creates different blade types, while poles are used for polearms and spears. The exact recipe depends on which weapon you're crafting.

Test Your Weapon

Equip your new weapon and test it against mobs. Different weapon types have different attack speeds and damage values, so experiment to find your preferred combat style. Wooden weapons are weakest but easiest to craft, while metal variants offer better performance.
