Accessing Brewing Stand Data
The Brewing Stand Serial Interface allows your TIS-3D computer to monitor brewing progress and blaze fuel consumption in real time. This enables automation of potion production.
Setup
1. Place a Brewing Stand adjacent to your TIS-3D computer.
2. Install a Serial Interface module in your computer and connect it to the brewing stand (similar to how you'd connect a furnace interface).
3. The interface will now expose the brewing stand's data through serial ports.
Reading Data
- Query the interface to read the current remaining brew time (how long until the current batch completes)
- Query the interface to read the remaining blaze fuel (how much fuel is left in the stand)
- Use this information to trigger alerts, refuel automatically, or coordinate multi-stand brewing operations
Automation Ideas
- Pause other systems when brewing is complete
- Automatically insert blaze powder when fuel runs low
- Log brewing cycles for efficiency tracking
- Synchronize multiple brewing stands
The interface works similarly to the furnace interface, so if you're familiar with that, the brewing stand interface will feel natural.
