How to Make Compact Circuits with Panels and Covers
Panels and covers are what let Tiny Redstone scale from a single block face to a full multi-layer circuit board. They give you extra surfaces to build on and let you hide or protect wiring.
Using the
Redstone Panel
Place a Redstone Panel to create a flat surface that accepts tiny components. Panels let you stack circuits in layers instead of cramming everything onto one block face, which is essential once a build gets dense. Build your wiring on the panel face the same way you would on any other block.
Covers for clean builds
Panel Covers (light, dark, and trimming variants) snap over panels to conceal the components underneath while keeping the circuit functional. Use them when you want a finished look or want to protect a circuit from accidental clicks. The
Color Selector helps you match covers and panels to the surrounding build.
Planning for space
Lay out your inputs, logic, and outputs across separate panels before wiring them together. Leave a spare cell between dense regions so you have room to route bridges. If a build feels cramped, add another panel layer rather than forcing wires into a single face.
