How to Tell If Tiny Swords Are Working (Visual Checklist)

What to Look For

When the pack is active, your sword model sits noticeably lower and closer to your hand in first person, taking up less screen space. The blade is shorter and the guard is smaller. The same applies to axes, pickaxes, shovels, and hoes across all supported tiers.

First-Person Check

Hold a diamond sword and look at the bottom-right of your screen. A vanilla sword extends far up and to the right; a tiny one stays compact near your hand. Swing it — the arc should feel the same but cover less of your view.

Third-Person Check

Press F5 twice to go to front-facing third person. The sword in your character's hand should look proportionally smaller than vanilla. This is the clearest way to confirm the model changed, since first-person positioning can be subtle.

Inventory and Item Frames

The pack changes the held model, not necessarily the inventory icon. Your inventory sprite may still look normal-sized — that's expected. Item frames show the item model, so a framed sword may appear smaller.

Tier-by-Tier Test

In creative, grab one sword of each tier: wooden, stone, copper, iron, golden, diamond, netherite. Hold each and confirm the model is small. If one tier looks vanilla, that tier's model file may be missing or overridden.

If Nothing Looks Different

The pack isn't loading. Recheck Options → Resource Packs, move it to the top, and press F3 + T to reload.
