How to Make Your Sword Look Smaller in Minecraft (Tiny PvP Swords and Tools)

Confirm the Pack Is Actually Active

If your sword still looks vanilla-sized, the pack isn't loading. Open Options → Resource Packs and check that *Tiny Pvp Swords And Tools* sits in the Selected column, not Available. If you run it alongside other packs, drag it above any pack that also edits item models, otherwise the other pack's sword model wins and yours stays full-size. Then press Done and let the game reload textures.

Check You're Looking at a Supported Tier

The pack only shrinks the vanilla tool tiers: wooden, stone, copper, iron, golden, diamond, and netherite. If you're holding a modded sword from another mod, it keeps its own model and won't shrink. Same goes for anything with a custom model like a trident or mace.

Verify In-Game

Hold a sword in first person and swing. The blade should sit lower and closer to your hand, taking up less of the screen. If it's still huge, you're either in a world with a server-side resource pack overriding yours, or the pack order is wrong. On servers, server packs usually load last and win — ask about pack priority or disable the server pack if you can.

Quick Fixes

  • Reload with F3 + T after changing pack order.
  • Make sure you didn't accidentally disable the pack when switching profiles.
  • If only some tiers look small, you likely have a partial pack conflict — remove other item-model packs and retest.
