Set Up Automatic Loot Collection from Your Mob Farm

Connecting Storage to Your Farm

To automatically collect drops from your mob farm without manually opening it, place a chest directly beneath the farm block. The farm will output all generated loot into this chest over time.

Steps

1. Build or locate your active mob farm (one containing a captured mob)

2. Place a chest in the block space directly below the farm

3. Ensure the chest has empty inventory space

4. The farm will now push drops into the chest automatically

Expanding Storage

If a single chest fills up, you can:

• Place additional chests adjacent to the first one to form a double or triple chest
• Use hoppers below the farm to direct loot into a larger storage system
• Connect multiple chests in a chain using hoppers for organized sorting

Troubleshooting

If loot isn't flowing into your chest, verify:

• The chest is directly underneath (not offset)
• The chest has available space
• The farm is actively producing loot (contains a mob and is receiving power if required)
