Control Your Dragon in Combat and Exploration

Using the Dragon Staff

The Dragon staff is your primary tool for commanding your pet. Hold it and look directly at your dragon, then right-click to cycle through commands:

• Follow: Your dragon stays close and travels with you
• Stay: Your dragon remains in place until commanded otherwise
• Fly: Your dragon takes to the air and patrols the area

Switching Combat Modes

Hold the Dragon staff, press sneak (Shift), and right-click your dragon to toggle between peaceful and aggressive modes. In aggressive mode, your dragon will attack hostile mobs and shoot bursts of fire at enemies. In peaceful mode, it won't engage in combat.

Managing Multiple Dragons

If you have multiple dragons, use the Dragon horn with a right-click to change the status of all dragons in your area at once. This is useful for quickly switching your entire team between combat-ready and passive states during exploration.
