Create and use a sledge hammer

Requirements

You must have the Ex Nihilo mod installed. Tinkers' Complement adds a Tinkers' Construct version of Ex Nihilo's hammer using modular tool parts.

Crafting the sledge hammer

Use Tinkers' Construct's tool forge to assemble a sledge hammer from tool parts. Check JEI or your tool forge interface for the required head, handle, and guard components.

Enhancing your sledge hammer

The sledge hammer benefits from Tinkers' Construct modifiers:

Area of effect: Apply expander modifiers to increase the hammer's mining radius. This turns it into a powerful AOE mining tool, useful for clearing large areas of blocks.

Other modifiers: Apply any standard Tinkers' modifiers you prefer, such as efficiency upgrades, durability enhancements, or special effects.

Using it

The sledge hammer functions like Ex Nihilo's hammer for breaking blocks and processing materials, but with the flexibility of Tinkers' tool customization. It's particularly effective for sifting, hammering, and mining when upgraded with expanders.
