Restock Your Hotbar and Inventory from Storage

How Restocking Works

Restocking refills partial or empty stacks in your hotbar and main inventory using supplies from nearby containers. It's useful during mining, building, or combat when you've used up consumables like blocks, food, or arrows.

Perform a Restock

Stand near your storage containers and open your inventory. Click the R button on the interface. The mod scans nearby containers for items matching the types already in your inventory and tops up depleted stacks.

What Gets Restocked

  • Partial stacks: A stack with 30 blocks will fill to 64
  • Empty slots: If you had a stack of food that's now gone, the mod won't create a new stack—it only tops existing ones
  • Locked slots: Protected slots are skipped during restock

Practical Tips

Before mining: Restock your pickaxe, torches, and building blocks to start with full stacks.

During exploration: Use R periodically to refill consumables without stopping to open chests.

Avoid overstocking: Restock only what you need—leaving space in your inventory prevents accidental dumps.

Restock is faster than quick-stack because it only touches items you already carry, making it ideal for quick supply top-ups during active gameplay.
