Craft Recipes Using Ingredients from Nearby Chests

Prerequisites

Place chests, barrels, or other supported containers around your crafting area and stock them with recipe ingredients. Stand within the mod's scan range (check settings for the exact distance).

Craft Through the Recipe Book

Open your inventory and access the vanilla recipe book (or a recipe viewer mod if installed). Browse to a recipe you want to craft and click it. The mod will automatically search nearby containers for matching ingredients.

If all materials are available—either in your inventory or in surrounding storage—the recipe will craft without requiring you to manually retrieve items from chests.

What Happens During Crafting

The mod pulls ingredients directly from nearby containers in real time. You don't need to open each chest individually. Crafted items appear in your inventory or drop on the ground if your inventory is full.

Troubleshooting

• Recipe won't craft: Verify all ingredients are present in your inventory or nearby containers
• Wrong containers searched: Check your whitelist/blacklist settings to ensure the right storage boxes are included
• Out of range: Move closer to your storage containers or increase the scan range in settings

This feature works with any standard Minecraft recipe, including modded recipes if your recipe viewer supports them.
