Getting Started in Purgatory

You enter the Purgatory dimension through exile—either via admin command or by obtaining a purgatory ring. Once banished, you'll find yourself in a hostile realm of red sand wastes and dark obsidian depths filled with dangerous mobs.

Your goal is escape. Check your custom advancements tab for progression guidance. Gather resources and craft Purgatory Metal to forge specialized tools. Collect materials to craft tiered keys, then offer them at regional altars to unlock harder trial phases. Each tier brings new challenges and bosses. Defeat the area bosses to obtain the Level III Purgatory Key—your ticket back to the overworld. Survival and persistence are essential.
