Create and Activate Your First Clay Golem

Gathering Materials

Collect clay from the ground. The mod generates multiple clay types including red clay, desert clay, kaolinite, and porcelain clay in different biomes. You'll need enough clay blocks to build a golem statue structure.

Building the Statue

Arrange clay blocks in the correct golem shape. The mod requires a specific block formation—typically a body, arms, legs, and head configuration. Refer to your crafting guide or place blocks in a humanoid pattern.

Awakening Your Golem

Once your statue is complete, place a carved pumpkin on top of the head. The golem will activate and begin patrolling your area. Alternatively, you can craft a golem spell item and use it on the completed statue to bring it to life.

What Your Golem Does

Your activated clay golem will automatically attack hostile mobs that approach, making it an effective base defense. You can create multiple golems to increase protection around your settlement.
