How to Obtain and Drink Your First Serum

Finding Compound V Serums

Serums are the foundation of gaining superpowers in this mod. They spawn naturally in loot chests throughout your world, particularly in structures like Ancient Cities, End Ships, and other generated locations. You can also craft serums if you have access to the necessary brewing materials.

Drinking and Gaining Powers

Once you have a serum in your inventory, simply use it like you would a potion. When consumed, you'll receive a random superpower from the mod's roster—this could be flight like Homelander, super speed like A-Train, or any other available ability.

After drinking, check your screen to see your new power's energy bar and effects. You'll gain immediate buffs including Resistance IV and fast regeneration, giving you a significant combat advantage.

Managing Your Power

Keep in mind that each serum grants a random ability, so you might need to drink several to get the power you want. Your power level will decrease slightly each time you die, so try to avoid fatal situations. If you accumulate too much toxicity from drinking low-quality serums, you'll suffer negative effects—use Anti V (brewed with Wither Rose) to clear this buildup.
