Getting Started in the Boreal Dimension

Accessing the Boreal Dimension

To enter the Boreal dimension, first explore snowy Overworld biomes to find four Ancient Snow Altar structures. Loot the chests inside to collect Ancient Ice Fragments. Craft a Frozen Amulet using Prismarine Shards and an Ancient Ice Fragment, then right-click it to teleport into the frozen realm.

Once inside, mine Talismandium, Chrodium, and Diorium ores from deep caves to upgrade your equipment beyond Netherite tier. Use the Boreal Essence Table to extract magical essence from dimension items and craft a Prison Locator. Follow it to the Boreal Prison dungeon, defeat the guards inside, and collect Boreal Shards. Finally, craft a Glacial Star Amulet and activate the Boreal Altar to summon the Great Boreal Golem boss for the ultimate challenge.
