How to Scan Items Without Dropping Them

This mod removes the need to drop items on the ground to scan them with a Thaumometer. Simply hold a Thaumometer in your hand, then open any inventory—your own, a chest, or any other container. Move your mouse cursor over the item you want to scan. The Thaumometer will detect the item and reveal its aspects without requiring you to place it in the world first.

This streamlines the scanning process, especially when working with large quantities of items or exploring modded inventories with many different materials. The feature works seamlessly alongside regular Thaumcraft scanning mechanics.
