Harvest and Use Volcanic Fertilizer
Collect Volcanic Minerals
Mine salt, sulphur, and saltpeter from deposits around hot springs and lava pools. These minerals are the raw materials for creating fertilizer.
Grind Minerals into Powder
Use a grinding tool (mortar and pestle or similar device) to process your collected minerals into powder form. Each mineral type produces a specific powder with different fertilizer properties.
Apply Fertilizer to Crops
Spread the powder on farmland or directly apply it to growing crops. Volcanic fertilizer accelerates crop growth and increases yields compared to unfertilized farming.
Optimize Crop Placement
Farm near volcanic areas where mineral deposits regenerate naturally. This creates a sustainable cycle: mine minerals, grind them into fertilizer, apply to nearby crops, and harvest both food and resources.
Experiment with Mineral Types
Different volcanic minerals may produce powders with varying effects on different crop types. Test which powder works best for your primary crops to maximize efficiency and yields throughout your farming operation.
