TFC Artisanal introduces a cleaning system where soapy water cleans items much faster than plain water. This is essential for maintaining tools and removing dirt from harvested materials.

Creating Soapy Water:

Craft soap using rendered fat and lye (or similar soap-making ingredients). Mix the soap with water in a barrel or cauldron to create soapy water. You can store soapy water in containers for later use.

Cleaning Process:

1. Place your dirty item in a barrel or container

2. Add soapy water to the container

Comparison to Plain Water

Normal water will eventually clean items, but the process is slow and wastes barrel space. Soapy water accelerates this dramatically, making it the preferred method for large-scale cleaning operations. Since soap is craftable through the mod's tech tree, you can produce it consistently once you have access to fat rendering and lye production.
