How to Grow and Use Bryce Trees and Japanese Maples

Bryce Tree Sapling

Bryce Tree Saplings drop from Bryce Tree Leaves, which generate in Terrestria's Bryce Canyon biome. Plant the sapling on dirt, grass, Andisol, or Podzol and give it light and space. Bryce trees grow into tall, layered trees with distinctive foliage. Use the logs for building and the leaves for decoration or compost.

Japanese Maple Varieties

Terrestria adds Japanese Maple trees in several leaf colors, including Dark Japanese Maple. Dark Japanese Maple Saplings drop from Dark Japanese Maple Leaves. Plant them the same way as other saplings. These trees are smaller and ornamental, perfect for gardens and courtyards. You can combine different maple leaf colors to create autumn-themed landscapes.

Landscaping Tips

  • Use Andisol Dirt Path and Andisol Podzol under maples for a natural forest floor.
  • Mix Bryce Trees with Cypress for vertical variety.
  • Place Cypress Shelves and Signs near maple groves for a park feel.
  • Bonemeal saplings to speed growth if you are impatient.
  • Keep water nearby for the swamp-loving Cypress but keep maples on drier ground.
