How to Craft and Use Terrestria Boats and Boats with Chest

Crafting Boats

Terrestria adds boats for each of its wood types: Cypress, Hemlock, Japanese Maple, Rainbow Eucalyptus, Redwood, and Rubber. To craft a boat, place planks of the matching wood type in the standard boat recipe shape. For a Boat with Chest, add a chest to the recipe or combine a boat with a chest in a crafting grid, depending on your version.

Using Boats

Place a boat on water and right-click to ride. Use WASD to steer. Boats with Chests give you mobile storage, perfect for long river journeys through Terrestria's biomes. You can access the chest by right-clicking the boat while not riding it, or by opening your inventory while riding.

Travel Tips

• Cypress and Hemlock boats suit swamp and river travel.
• Rainbow Eucalyptus and Redwood boats fit tropical and forest rivers.
• Rubber boats are useful near Rubber tree groves.
• Carry a Boat with Chest when exploring to bring back saplings, logs, and plants.
• Break the boat with an axe to recover it and its contents.
• Use boats to cross Terrestria's wide rivers without building bridges.
• Combine boats with Andisol Dirt Paths on shore for easy docking areas.
