Catch and Add Animals to Your Tank

Using the Built-in Net

The mod includes a specialized net tool for capturing wild animals. Equip it and use it like any other tool to catch creatures roaming nearby. Once caught, the animal is ready to be placed in your tank.

Adding Creatures to Glass

With an animal caught or a spawn egg in hand, approach your tank block and right-click on the glass surface. The creature will appear inside the enclosure. You can add multiple animals to the same tank—they'll coexist peacefully as long as the space is large enough.

For aquariums, you can also right-click with a bucket of fish to quickly populate your water habitat. This is faster than using spawn eggs for aquatic creatures.

Managing Population

If your tank feels crowded, use the manager menu (right-click with empty hand) to remove or relocate animals. Remember that larger creatures take up more visual space, so you may want to resize them to fit more comfortably. Multiple connected tank blocks give animals more room to move around naturally.
