Summon and Defeat the Eye of Cthulhu

Preparation

Before summoning the Eye of Cthulhu, gather combat supplies. Stock up on healing potions and ensure you have a weapon suited to mid-range combat—yoyos or magic weapons work well. Build or find an open arena with flat ground to give yourself space to dodge. The Eye spawns at night, so prepare during the day.

Summoning the Boss

Craft the summoning item required to call forth the Eye of Cthulhu. Use it during nighttime to trigger the encounter. The boss will appear in the sky above you.

Combat Strategy

The Eye of Cthulhu attacks in two phases. In the first phase, it circles you at range—use ranged weapons or magic to damage it while moving to avoid its projectiles. When it transitions to the second phase, it becomes more aggressive and charges directly at you. Keep moving in circles and maintain distance when possible. Use your healing potions when health drops below half. The fight rewards valuable loot including unique weapons and crafting materials needed for progression.
