Understanding Magicules and Aura

Magicules and Aura are the primary progression currencies in this mod. You'll need both to upgrade skills, evolve your character, and unlock new powers.

How to Earn Them

Combat is your main source: defeat hostile mobs, neutral creatures, and especially boss mobs like Charybdis to accumulate Magicules and Aura. Stronger enemies yield greater rewards. Explore the world actively rather than staying in one area—different regions spawn different mob types with varying drop rates.

Spending Your Resources

Once you've gathered enough, open your skill menu to allocate points into abilities. Prioritize skills that match your race and playstyle. Some skills require Magicules, others require Aura, and certain evolution paths may demand both. Plan ahead: decide whether you want to specialize in one powerful skill or spread upgrades across multiple abilities. Boss drops also provide exotic resources needed for weapon and armor upgrades, so hunting bosses should be part of your long-term strategy.
