How to Process Ores and Build a Basic Processing Chain
Ore Processing Steps
Tech Reborn ores like bauxite, tin, lead, and copper can be processed in several stages. The basic chain is:
1. Macerator — grinds ore into dust, doubling output compared to a furnace.
2.
Electric Furnace — smelts dust into ingots.
3.
Alloy Smelter — combines ingots into alloys.
Each machine needs EU. Connect them with cables and place a
Battery Box nearby to buffer power.
Building the Chain
Lay machines in a row: Macerator → Electric Furnace → Alloy Smelter. Use hoppers or item pipes to move items between them. Feed raw ore into the Macerator's input chest, and collect finished products from the Alloy Smelter's output.
Expanding Production
Once the basic chain works, add:
Grinder or
Industrial Grinder for higher yields.- Centrifuge to separate mixed dusts.
Chemical Reactor for advanced material processing.
Keep your power supply ahead of demand — a single
generator may not keep up with several machines running at once. Add more generators or a larger battery box as you expand. Always verify voltage tiers match before connecting new machines.
