How to Generate Power in Tech Reborn (Solar, Generators, and More)

Fuel-Based Generators

A Generator burns solid fuel (coal, charcoal, wood) to produce EU. It is the simplest early power source. Place it adjacent to machines or connect it with cables. For continuous output, feed it via a hopper or an Auto Crafting Table setup.

Solar Panels

Basic Solar Panels generate EU from sunlight during the day. They produce nothing at night or in rain, so pair them with a Battery Box to store energy for later. Advanced Solar Panels produce more EU and may work in low light. Place panels with clear sky access — no blocks above them.

Other Power Sources

Tech Reborn also includes options like:

• Thermal Generator — runs on lava or heated fluids.
• Semifluid Generator — burns liquid fuels such as oil or biofuel.
• Dragon Egg Energy Siphon — endgame power from a dragon egg.

Managing Your Grid

Use cables to move EU between generators, storage, and machines. Different cables handle different voltages and losses — copper and tin for low voltage, gold and above for higher tiers. Add a Battery Box or Adjustable SU to buffer and regulate flow. Always match your generator's output tier to your machines' input tier to avoid explosions.
